About Our Spa

Three spas, one standard

Lavana Spa runs three hotel spas in Dubai: on the rooftop in Al Barsha, on the HC floor in Bur Dubai and on the 45th floor at DIFC. Al Barsha and Bur Dubai share a price list, while DIFC has its own, so it is worth opening the page of the branch you plan to visit.

Our therapists are European and Russian. Bur Dubai and DIFC each have a real hammam room, so the Moroccan Bath and the Royal Hammam package run there rather than on a massage table; Al Barsha offers massage only. All three run late: until midnight in Bur Dubai and DIFC, and until 1 AM in Al Barsha.

Frequently asked questions

Where are the Lavana Spa branches in Dubai?+

Lavana Spa has three addresses in Dubai, and all of them sit inside hotels. The Al Barsha branch is on the rooftop of the Grand Excelsior Hotel in Al Barsha 1, a short walk from Mall of the Emirates. The Bur Dubai branch is on the HC floor of the Grand Excelsior Hotel on Kuwait Street in Mankhool, close to the Burjuman area. The DIFC branch is on the 45th floor of the Residence Inn by Marriott at 115 Sheikh Zayed Road, between DIFC and the World Trade Centre. Each branch has its own phone number and its own WhatsApp, so the reception you reach is the one at the address you plan to visit. Al Barsha and Bur Dubai share one price list while DIFC prints its own, so open the page of the branch you are considering rather than assuming a rate. Pick Bur Dubai or DIFC when you want the hammam, because Al Barsha has no hammam room.

Which branches have a real hammam?+

Bur Dubai and DIFC. Both have a heated hammam room, and that room is what separates a genuine Moroccan bath from a scrub performed on a massage table, which is what plenty of Dubai hotel spas quietly sell instead. In a real hammam the room is heated and humid before you go in, the black soap is left on warm skin so it can soften it, and the kessa glove then lifts away a layer a shower at home cannot reach. At those two branches you can book the Moroccan Bath on its own for 400 AED, or 300 AED before 15:00, or take the two hour Royal Hammam package for the scrub and a full body massage in one visit. Our Al Barsha branch has no hammam room and offers massage only, so book Bur Dubai or DIFC when the hammam itself is what you came for.

Are the prices and the treatment list the same at every branch?+

Not quite, and it is worth two minutes before you travel. Al Barsha and Bur Dubai share one price list: the same six massages from 500 AED for an hour, with 5% VAT added at the till, and an Early Bird rate from 400 AED for appointments starting before 15:00. Bur Dubai adds, in its hammam room, the Moroccan Bath and the Royal Hammam package; Al Barsha has no hammam room and sells massage only. Our DIFC branch runs a menu of its own, with different names, its own rates from 550 AED an hour, multi-visit packages the other two do not sell, and the 5% VAT already inside the printed figures. Each branch page carries that branch menu in full, so open the address you plan to visit.

How late is Lavana Spa open?+

All three branches open at 10:00 in the morning, seven days a week, and they close late. Bur Dubai and DIFC take guests until midnight. Al Barsha runs an hour longer and closes at 1:00 in the morning, which makes it the option worth remembering when a day has run away from you. The last appointment has to finish by closing time rather than start at it, so a 90 or 120 minute treatment needs to begin correspondingly earlier. If you are heading over late in the evening, message the branch on WhatsApp before you leave and reception will tell you what is still bookable that night. Opening hours do not change at weekends. They can shift during Ramadan, so it is worth sending a short message to the branch before travelling during that period.

Do I need to book, or can I walk in?+

Walk-ins are welcome and often work, particularly earlier in the day. That said, two treatments genuinely need warning. A four hands massage requires two therapists free at the same moment, and the Royal Hammam package at Bur Dubai, like the bath-and-massage combinations at DIFC, occupies the hammam room for two straight hours, so both are worth arranging ahead. The quickest way to book is WhatsApp: each branch has its own number, and the message opens with the branch already named so reception knows which address you mean before reading a word. You can also call the branch directly or book online. If you have a preferred therapist from a previous visit, mention the name when you message, because availability differs by day and reception can tell you immediately whether that person is working. Booking online is a third route if you would rather not message anyone at all.

Which massage should I choose on a first visit?+

It depends on what you want the hour to do. If you mainly want to switch off, the European aromatherapy massage is the gentlest thing on the menu: warm aromatic oils, light to medium pressure, no strong stretching. If a specific area has been complaining, the deep muscle massage is the right call, because the therapist works slowly through the deeper layers and adjusts pressure as you go, so tell them where it hurts and how hard to press. The purifying Swedish massage sits between the two, with long draining strokes over the whole body at steady medium pressure. If you would rather your skin felt different afterwards than your muscles, start with the Moroccan Bath instead, booking Bur Dubai or DIFC, since those are the branches with a hammam room. Reception will also steer you if you describe what your week has been like, and the therapist can still adjust the pressure once the session has started.

Guys!!! This was the best morrocan bath I have ever done in my life! The woman mariam scrubbed every inch of my body. Leaving no crevice unattended, the salon was very clean and aesthtic. The receptionists were lovely. Overall an amazing experience! Must try!
Had a wonderful experience at Lavana Spa. My therapist, Lovely, was amazing — very skilled and gentle. The staff is friendly, and the whole place has a calming, clean atmosphere. I left feeling completely relaxed. Highly recommended!
Had a very relaxing massage, I slept throughout. Elena was very professional with her very soft hands, it was real aroma therapy. Total relax and no painful moves. I am regretting not taking a 90 minute session, 60 was not enough.
I had an amazing experience at Lavana spa with a Moroccan bath, couple’s massage, and jacuzzi session. The place is super luxurious and beautiful, and the staff were incredibly professional. Everything was so relaxing and the service was top-notch. Definitely a place I’d recommend for some serious pampering

I had a really wonderful experience at Lavana Spa. I went in for a Swedish massage, and it was exactly what I needed — deeply relaxing and refreshing. The whole place has such a calm vibe. Nancy at the front desk was excellent; she was very kind and suggested the right options based on what I was looking for. I walked out feeling relaxed and happy. Highly recommend!
I had an exceptional experience at Lavana Spa. From the moment I arrived, the reception team delivered service at the highest level — warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. The massage itself was outstanding, both in terms of quality and the therapist’s technique. It was perfectly timed and deeply relaxing. Overall, Lavana Spa offers one of the best service standards. Highly recommended!
This was my second visit to this spa, and once again I had a wonderful experience. Eka’s Moroccan Bath was exceptional — both gentle and thorough. My skin felt incredibly clean, soft, and refreshed afterwards, and I left feeling completely pampered. The massage with Maryam was highly professional and deeply relaxing. I felt so much lighter and more relaxed after the treatment. A special thanks to Lyka at reception for her warm welcome and professionalism. The spa is spotless, well-organized, and the valet parking is a great convenience. I’ve already booked my third visit and would highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for quality treatments and excellent service.
