How bookings, prices and appointments work at our three branches
Last updated: 17 August 2026
These terms apply to appointments at the three Lavana Spa branches in Dubai, Al Barsha, Bur Dubai and DIFC, and to your use of this website. By booking with any branch you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
How a booking is made
You book directly with the branch you plan to visit, by WhatsApp, Telegram or phone, or through that branch's page on Fresha. A booking made by message or phone is confirmed once reception replies to agree a treatment, a date, a time and, if you asked for one, a therapist. A booking made on Fresha is governed by Fresha's own terms as well as these, including anything Fresha asks of you to hold the appointment. Each branch keeps its own calendar, so a booking with one address is not visible to, and cannot be moved to, another without asking.
Prices, VAT and payment
All prices are in UAE dirhams. Each branch prints its own menu and this site shows each menu as printed: Al Barsha and Bur Dubai share one list, with 5% VAT added at reception on top of the printed figure, and DIFC runs its own list with VAT already included. If a figure on this site and the menu at reception ever differ, reception will tell you before your treatment begins, and the printed menu applies. Prices can change; the price that applies is the one confirmed with you when you booked. Payment is made at the spa, by the methods shown at reception, unless you paid through Fresha when booking.
The Early Bird rate
The Early Bird rate is decided by the hour your treatment starts: appointments beginning from 10:00 and before 15:00 are charged at the Early Bird price where the branch menu lists one. It is the same treatment, the same room and the same number of minutes; there is no code, no voucher and nothing to mention at reception. Not every treatment carries an Early Bird price at every branch, and each branch page shows which do. Packages are priced as packages and are not discounted again for starting early, unless the branch menu says otherwise.
Opening hours, arriving and running late
Bur Dubai and DIFC take guests from 10:00 until midnight and Al Barsha until 1 am, seven days a week including public holidays. An appointment has to finish by closing rather than start at it, so a two-hour session needs to begin two hours before the door shuts. Please arrive a few minutes early so your treatment can start and end on time. If you arrive late we will do what we can, but a later appointment may already be reserved for another guest, and your session may have to end at the time originally agreed. Hours can shift during Ramadan; a short message to reception before travelling is the safe way to check.
Cancelling or moving an appointment
Plans change, and a message is enough. If you need to cancel or move an appointment, tell the branch as early as you reasonably can, so the time can be offered to another guest. Repeated missed appointments without notice may affect our ability to hold future bookings for you. Where a booking was made on Fresha, any cancellation conditions Fresha showed you at the time apply as well.
Your health
Before treatment, please tell your therapist about any medical condition, recent injury or surgery, allergy, or pregnancy, and about anything that made a previous massage uncomfortable. Your therapist may adapt the pressure, the oils or the treatment itself, or, where a treatment would not be safe for you, suggest a different one. The hammam room at Bur Dubai and DIFC involves heat and steam, so the same applies with more force there. We cannot take responsibility for a reaction to a condition we were not told about.
Conduct
Our branches offer professional therapeutic massage and hammam treatments by trained therapists, and nothing else. We keep a calm, respectful environment for guests and staff, and we do not tolerate inappropriate behaviour, language or requests. A therapist or reception may end a treatment immediately, without refund, and may decline future bookings, if this is not respected.
This website
The text and photographs on this site belong to Lavana Spa and may not be reproduced without permission; the reviews we quote were written by their authors on Google and remain theirs. We keep prices, hours and treatment descriptions in step with what the branches print, and correct anything that drifts, but the printed menu and reception's confirmation are what apply on the day. Links to Fresha, Google Maps, Instagram and other third-party services take you to sites we do not run and are not responsible for.
Liability
We take care in everything we do. To the extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for a reaction or injury arising from a condition you did not tell your therapist about. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of the United Arab Emirates.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and any dispute relating to them is subject to the courts of Dubai.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, this page changes and the date at the top moves. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
